Der Triumph der universellen Gnosis

Antonin Gadal

Pimander. Texts and studies published by the Bibliotheca Philosophica Hermetica 13

In 1954 the Frenchman Antonin Gadal, the motor behind the renewed interest in Catharism in the south of France, and the then leaders of the Lectorium Rosicrucianum in the Netherlands Jan van Rijckenborgh (Jan Leene) and Catharose de Petri (Henny Stok-Huyser) encountered each other for the first time. Part I of this work describes the contacts between these three spiritual leaders, Part II contains a number of previously unpublished texts by Gadal. They are the fruit of his own study and interpretation of Gnosis and early Christianity, the direct heir of which was the Cathar movement in southern France.
