Postcard - ‘A dragon and a woman are lying’.
A dragon and a woman are lying entwined in a grave, bathing in blood. This relates to the manufacturing of tincture, the final stage in producing the Philosophers' Stone. Michael Maier (1568-1622) describes pases of the alchemical process in Atalanta fugiens, 1618.
